Srinagar, Sep 19 (KNO): Islamic Global School organised an inter-school art competition at Emporium Park, Srinagar, on the theme “Kashmir Through My Eyes,” bringing together young artists from different schools to showcase their creativity and perspectives through art.
In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a spokesperson said that the school organised the inter-school art competition under the theme “Kashmir Through My Eyes.”
He said the event brought together young artists from different schools, providing them with a creative platform to express their thoughts, imagination and individual perspectives through art. Students participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their artistic abilities through colourful and meaningful artworks inspired by Kashmir.
The spokesperson said the competition aimed to encourage creativity, imagination, artistic expression and healthy competition among students. It also provided an opportunity for students from different schools to interact, gain exposure and learn from one another.
He said the theme “Kashmir Through My Eyes” allowed participants to portray Kashmir from their own perspectives, highlighting its beauty, culture, heritage and surroundings.
“The serene setting of Emporium Park, surrounded by Chinar trees, added a special charm to the event and complemented the theme beautifully,” he said—(KNO)
